2005 Miracles: Here we are at the end of the year and surely have used up all our miracles for this year. We've really had some great ones in our family this year to have made it to this point in time. The last one really put the frosting on the cake. I'd been having some health problems and had lectures from my DH and children about putting up my (admittedly humongous big and beautiful frosted ) Christmas tree. I switched to artificial so my leaving it up too long wouldn't be a fire hazard (I get all kinds of those 'for my own good' lectures - think that's the penalty for having raised children right or some other catch 22 situation). Anyway, I said, "So, it may take me a while, I'm not going anywhere) and proceeded to prepare a (as I said, admittedly humongous) cleared out place for my beloved Christmas tree. This is where the miracle comes in. The very afternoon I got the space ready my daughter got a call from Petals and Plants (a wonderful florist place full of goodies) - she had won a 7 FOOT DECORATED CHRISTMAS TREE! They delivered it, touched up the decorations and made sure all the lights worked - a beautiful designer thing of beauty and I didn't have to do a thing (or get lectured : - )). Looking right now at the last(?) miracle of 2005 - who could doubt great things are coming in 2006! If I can remember how to do it I'll try to put a picture of it on this blog. In this one (if it works) I'm holding two of my books. My grandson got me a Lexar Jump Drive to put my MSs on. Hope everyone reading thi;s had a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukka, Kwaanza and Happy Holidays full of love. And have a wonderful 2006. Break's over, and 2005 too. Pray, work, love, good luck to all of us.
